His Experience in his words:
November 2013, just towards the finale of arguably the world’s most captivating wildlife spectacle – The Great Wildebeest Migration of Kenya, I was fortunate enough to visit this East African wonderland that is Kenya.Having had my fortunate fair share of travels around the globe, I’ve yet to travel to a country that emits such a raw and powerful vibe as this one.
Boasting of some of the planet’s most magical landscapes – my journey here took me from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park to Mount Kenya (possesses a stunning Fairmont property) to OL’ Pejeta Conservancy (make sure you stay at the Sweetwaters Tented Camps here) to Lake Nakuru’s flamingo populated waters to finally, the jewel in Kenya’s crown, Maasai Mara.
Undoubtedly, Maasai Mara’s vast eco-system and awe-inspiring sights will leave your mind scarred forever. It’s unending, long plains make for some inexplicably sensational game viewing and give you the opportunity to experience the jungle and its majestic species at proximities you’d only think were possible on a television set. Did I mention the chance to see almost one million wildebeest migrate from Serengeti, Tanzania to the greener pastures of Maasai Mara in Kenya?
Yet – it’s not just Maasai Mara that will take your breath away. Each place has a mesmerizing charm and coupled with some of the world’s most highly acclaimed, top-class lodges – here’s hardly too much scope for complaint! Kenya has been around as a world-class tourism destination for many years and it will continue to be so, and so long as we’re more sensitive to our planet and educate future and young travelers in the right way. With responsible tourism, this East African beauty will fascinate travelers for decades to come. Here are the pictures from the trip.
